Salient Features

The company had signed an agreement with Mathillo Mailun Khola Jalvidhyut Limited on February 20, 2019, for the construction of the main physical structures of the Upper Mailung Khola Hydroelectric Project (14.3 MW). According to the agreement, the work included the construction of the headworks, vertical and horizontal tunnels, and the powerhouse. After completing all the works, Bavari handed over the project to Mathillo Mailun Khola Jalvidhyut Limited on December 31, 2023. The commercial production of electricity from the project began on Magh 28, 2080, and electricity is being transmitted to the national grid. The structures of this project are located at elevations ranging from 1,500 meters to 2,050 meters above sea level.
